I was thinking about dreaming today and about all the sayings we hear such as...
Imagine yourself already there…
Follow your dreams….
Make your dreams come true….
Bring your dreams to reality….
Dream Big!!!!
I love all of these sayings, but the question that arose in me today is what happens AFTER we do all those things? For example, what happens after I bring one of my dreams to reality? Because there always seems to be another dream on the horizon, waiting to be fulfilled after I have successfully brought the previous one to fruition.
The answer I came up with is that we have to LIVE OUR DREAMS and ENJOY THE JOURNEY right now, and that there is no "after"...no destination. I know that many of us are right where we have always wanted to be and of course we are always striving to do more and be better. Let's take time to enjoy where we are and what we have accomplished. Even if we THINK we're not quite where we want to be, it's important to enjoy each and every moment because the dream is the journey. The destination does not exist in some future place in time, but instead it exists right now, in this moment. My goal is to continue to grow and expand my dreams while also living right now in the dream I have created for myself. I hope we can enjoy this journey together. Here are some quotes to help us along the path. Keep Dreaming!!!
This is a concept piece that I haven't went back to in quite some time, but I love the idea of staying grounded while still dreaming....It's called "Head in the Clouds".
