My prints at Nordstrom
Oh my the work it takes to achieve lighter colors on darker grounds with fine details on ribbed fabric, all with a soft hand feel! You can't imagine...unless of course you have worked in the fashion industry. I wouldn't trade my wonderful experience here for anything. What a blessing!

A few pix from San Francisco
The Juicy Couture dressing rooms had Hot Pink Walls on the outside and this incredible wallpaper on the inside. That's the hot pink blouse (with hearts all over it) that I tried on. Not quite the right fit! But...I'm seeing Hot Pink with Black EVERYWHERE! Looks like PINK LIGHT is a big trendsetter! :)
We all know necklaces are trending...but for some reason I was surprised to see so much BLING all at once! One right next to the other at Bloomingdales! Beautiful!
Kate Spade Owl Handbag and Wallets!!!! I was speachless!!!! TOO CUTE!!!

Lessons of the week....
These fantastic quotes from Jim Rohn, America's foremost business philosopher...
"Work harder on yourself than you do on your job."
"You cannot change your destination overnight, but you can change your direction overnight."
"Success is doing ordinary things extraordinarily well."
"When you know what you want, and want it bad enough, you will find a way to get it."
"Let others lead small lives, but not you. Let others argue over small things, but not you. Let others cry over small hurts, but not you. Let others leave their future in someone else's hands, but not you."
"Don't wish it were easier, wish you were better."
"If you are not willing to risk the unusual, you will have to settle for the ordinary."
"Without a sense of urgency, desire loses it's value."
I hope these quotes touch you somewhere inside as they have me this week! Happy SUNday!

A little bit of lovely...
This has been such an exhilarating week! Back to school. The boys are at two different schools, so there's lots and lots of driving back and forth. And school that starts at 8 am!? It's way too early for me! The great thing is that it has been so much fun with my new schedule and being more involved in their daily activities. What a lovely treat! On this warm Friday evening in Seattle, I found myself at my favorite store again...Fireworks in University Village and decided to treat myself to a little bit of something lovely. I found these inspirational journals by Compendium. I couldn't help but buy three, they are so lovely (and of course you can never have too many journals)....and a honey blossom lip balm by Tokyo Milk. Yummy!!! See their beautiful products and graphics below. They are so lovely and detailed. Their designs even have touches of glitter. I have been dreaming about this artwork style since Wednesday when I saw these D&G Dresses! Why can't I stop thinking about them? Dear Mr. Dolce and Mr Gabbana, please send me one. They are quite unique and lovely and I have never seen a dress like this before. ;) I hope you enjoy all of these beautiful designs as much as I do. Have a lovely weekend!
